Five Tails Are Better Than One

A common native house gecko has been found in a home in north Queensland, AU with five tails attached to its rear end. The animal had probably been the victim of a traumatic de-tailing by a predator. When geckos are attacked, they lose their tail and if there is trauma with the attack what is left is split, then they can grow a tail from each point of the split. This one obviously had a lot of trauma.
