This giant devil fish was captured by Captain A. Kahn in 1933, five miles off Deal Beach, N.J. It weighed over 5,000 pounds, was over 20 feet wide (the largest on record.) Captain Kahn is shown holding a foetus measuring 18 inches across to which the sea monster gave birth posthumously.
