Ah, Summer In Australia . . .

...and guess who's coming out to play. Only one week into summer and hundreds of swimmers were already chased from the surf at Bondi Beach by a giant shark. 22 people have already been stung by the potentially deadly irukandji jellyfish. (You also better look out for the much larger box jellyfish whose nine ft. long tentacles can kill.) And don't forget the blue-ringed octopus and the stonefish, the most lethal of their kind in the world. Then, of course, there are the sea snakes. Oh, and one final creature to be wary of in the water is the crocodile. Crocodiles have killed about a dozen people in Australia over the past 20 years and this year, one even dragged a sleeping man from his tent and killed him!

Don't forget your sunscreen!
