And If You Thought Cruises Were Safe . . .

Somali pirates tried to capture a luxury cruise ship off Somalia on Saturday. The ship, owned by Miami, USA based Seabourn Cruise Lines, was traveling from Egypt to Kenya when two boats full of men armed with rocket propelled grenades and other weapons attacked it inside Somalia waters.

No one was injured and the ship escaped by outrunning the gun totting pirates. It is now rerouted the Seychelles Islands.

Almost thirty ships have been hijacked in Somalia waters in the past several months, making it the most dangerous in the world.
